Children's Week Guide

You want what?? To tame an orphan child on a leash and show him off to your mate?
Isn't that child Abuse?

In world of Warcraft it's not. Welcome to Children's Week Guide.

In this guide, we will be taking you through the quests, they are relatively easy, the only down side is lots of travelling. So, time for you to abuse a mage or better yet, pay him 5g per portal and have him in your party. In the second part of Children's Week Guide, we will also be talking about how can you make 30g in just a few minutes from a simple task.

You may have noticed that the quests doesn't involve slaying mobs or looting. Its about lollies, ice-cream, sight seeing, buying toys and making candies.

Children's Weeks begins on the first day of May till the end of the week, this year its on Friday, May 1st till Thursday, May 7th.

There are 6 pets available, after completing the quests, you may have a choice of either Piglet's Collar, Rat Cage, or Turtle Box for completing the Azeroth quests.

The second part, you may also get your second pet,by completing the Outland Children's Week quest. Upon completing the final quest, you can either get Egbert's Egg, Sleepy Willy, or Elekk Training Collar.

Lets go get us a kid. For the Horde, the starting quest is in Orgrimmar. For Alliance, the starting quest is in Stormwind.

My Pro advise is to set your hearth to Dalaran, and make sure not to waste the cooldown, otherwise you will just have to do something else till the cooldown is up again.

During that time, if you're a PVP lover, you should do BGs. If you enjoy farming, that 30 mins cooldown should give you plenty of time to farm your mats or you may even want to finish off your dailies or a heroic run in UP.

FOr the Alliance:

Step 1. Collect the quest from Orphan Matron Nightingale in SW, then use the Human Orphan Whistle, to summon your slave err..i mean kid. then accept the quests from the kid, and make sure the kid is alway out with you in order to move to the next Zone.

Next, get on your mount and head to Westfall Lighthouse, in Westfall.

Next, with your kid, go to Stonewrought Dam, Loch Modan.

Then you need to head to Darnasus Bank.

Almost done, talk to your kid and you will get Jaina's Autograph. Find Jaina Proudmoore, in Theramore Isle.

Your kid will now tell you to return to Stormwind City for the last part, seek Emmithue Smails , then you will be able to get your first pet from Orphan Matron Nightingale.

See told you its easy, no fighting, no looting, just about 30 minutes of travel time, it took my Tauren Druid about 30 mins to complete.

For the Horde:

Start by heading to Matron Battlewail, inside Orgrimmar, summon your kid with Orcish Orphan Whistle, he will then give you 3 quests.

Your first stop is in The Barrens, get on your mount and head to Mor'shan Rampart with your kid.

Next, get on your mount again and head to Rachet.

Next you need to head to the entrance just before entering Undercity, Lordaeron Throne Room.

Upon comepleting those 3 quests, your kid will now give you the 4th one, in Thunder bluff. Talk to Cairne Bloodhoof on the third floor, eastern central rise.

Finally, for your last quest u now need to head to Orgrimmar to find Alowicious Czervik. Talk to him, he is located just under the palm tree outside of Orgrimmar Bank. To get your First pet, you now have to head to Orphan Matron Battlewail to collect your first pet.

Grats!

Now, do you want your 2nd pet?? Sure you do, hehe, if your still reading this, then the answer is simple.

For the 2nd part of the Children's Week, there will still be alot of travelling. The good thing is? Now we can use our epic flight mount or epic flight form, you can use your hearth cooldown to get from one place to another. But it's not so much of a great deal since we have our shifty flight form/mount.

To start the Outland Children's Week, head to Shattrath City and seek Orphan Matron Mercy.

For the Alliance:

Orphan Matron Mercy will give you Draenei Orphan Whistle, talk to you orphan and accept all 3 quests. Next, get on your flying mount and head to center of Auchindoun, Terokkar Forest.

Next stop, is in Hellfire Penninsula.

Last stop is in Nagrand. So head to Aeris Landing with your kid.

The orphan kid will now give you the the fourth which is in Exodar. Go get on your flying mount and head to Shattrath City then use the Exodar portal. Find O'ros, he is located at the centre of Exodar.

O'ros will then give you another quest to locate Farseer Nobundo, also inside Exodar.

After completing the Exodar quests, you will now need to head to Tanaris, to find Zaladormu. So the best way is to use your hearth stone, from Dalaran you can use the Cavern of Time portal, and then talk to the dragon outside for a free flight.

Before talking to Zaladormu, the huge sleeping dragon. Find Alurmi then purchase Toy Dragon, she should be just along the path if you ride up to the entrance of CoT.

Your kid will now give you the final quest, so head back to Shattrath City (mage portal or hearth back). Find Orphan Matron Mercy, to get your second pet, you can collect either one of the three choices Egbert's Egg, Sleepy Willy, Elekk Training Collar.

For the Horde:

Pretty much the same as the Alliance. To start the Outland Children's Week, head to Shattrath City and find Orphan Matron Mercy then use Blood Elf Orphan Whistle to summon the kid, accept the quests.

First stop is in Hellfire Penninsula, Dark Portal gate.

Next stop is in Zangarmarsh, Sporeggar.

Almost done, third stop is in Nagrand, find Throne of Elements. Speak with Elementalist Sharvak, to complete the quest.

After completeting the three quests, your kid will now give you forth and fifth quest. So Fly back to Shattrath City and use the Silvermoon portal.

Your last stop you need to go is in Tanaris.

Phew.. that's the easy part. Now lets talk about the HARD part, completing the Children's Week achievement.

Aw, Isn't It Cute?:
Is very simple, just obtain one of the Children's Week reward pets.

Hail To The King, Baby:
This one isnt hard at all. Utgarde Pinnacle is really easy (no fail noobs, kthankxbai), just kill King Ymiron but make sure to have your orphan out, or you will have to do it again.

Home Alone:
Another simple one, just use the hearth stone while the kid is with you. This one is really buggy though, everything i used hearthstone, it would reset the achievement. So make sure to ticket the GM and explain to them or you wont get your achievement.

The above achievements are easy, now is the hard part, which will take you forever. Depending on your server.

Bad Example:
This one isnt so hard, just find Aimee , she is located in Dalaran. eat the food listed for the achievement with your kid out. But she wont sell Tigule and Foror's Strawberry Ice Cream, or Delicious Chocolate Cake . Delicious Chocolate Cake main ingredient is the small egg. During normal season they normally go for about 1G per stack, but during Children's Week, because it is the main ingredience for Delicious Chocolate Cake, they can be easily sold for about 30g a stack.

My tip: head down to Silvermoon City and slay the dragonhawks, they can be one shot and on average drops between 1-2 small eggs per kill. 10 eggs in 2 minute, that's a profit of 30g in 2 minute. As for druids, best way is to Cheetah form, moonfire, next target moonfire then cheetah form. rinse and repeat.

Tigule and Foror's Strawberry Ice Cream can be bought from Alowicious Czervik located under the palm tree outside of Orgrimmar bank.

Daily Chores:
Its very buggy for me. plus its very annoying, I'm not a fan of dailies. But you need to do the daily quest every day for five consecutive days and make sure your orphan is out with you or you wont be getting any credit for it.

School of Hard Knocks:
Easy if a) you're an Alliance, b) you're an Alliance, c) you're an Alliance. Horde fails at BGs.

Veteran Nanny:
This one is frustrating. To complete this one, you need to do the Outland Children's Week every year for 3 years, in order to collect the 3 required pet. Hope Blizzard will fix this achievement in the upcoming patch or so, I dont quite see the purpose of it.

For The Children:
This achievement will reward the player with the title 'Matron' or 'Patron' (female, male). This is also a required achievement toward What A Long, Strange Trip It's Been , for Hardcore PVP players. The reward is a Violet Proto-Drake a 310% mount and one of the rarest mount to get.

Happy Children's Week!

Noblegarden Guide for Druid.!

Yay! its Easter, Where's my Easter egg?

Instead of Easter Sunday, or whatever part of the world you're in, Noblegarden is all about the giving and recieving.

If you're a beginner, and you have no idea, then allow me to explain to you. So, you don't have to feel like a noob having to ask your guild or your friends.

Noblegarden is an Easter event, taking place around April 26th until Saturday, May 2nd. Players who wants to participate the event can start by heading to any low level 5 starting area. For example, Undead starting area would be in Brill, Org and Troll would be in Razor Hill and the Human area would be in Goldshire and so on.

The main Objective is to search for big coloured eggs hidden around the various corner around the starting area. Isn't exciting!! You can also receive tuxedo pants, tuxedo shirt, bunny ears and other goodies, which you can keep or sell.

As for myself, I'm a collector, I collect things. I love collecting pets, us druids loves them little adorable pet. They are s0 CUTE (0^__^0)

Anyhow, as a druid, WE have a huge advantage over other class!!! Thanks to your cheetah form, we should be able to get to the eggs before anyone else.

Okay, so to start participating, just head to one of those starting area there. If you are like me and you will want to head to Orgrimma, then head down to Razor Hill, that's the best place to start collecting your eggs. For Alliance, you will want to head to Goldshire.

Heres a tip, the respawn rate is CRAZY! if you're fast you should be easy to collect one egg per 3 secs. 20 eggs per minute, thanks to your swiftly cheetah form and your Egg Basket. Egg Basket will be giving to you by the NPC when you pick up the quest, which you can spam click to give you an extra 60% increase speed.

I have seen a few strats, one way is to wait in a spot without moving, then Eagle Eye view down, and click. One popular area is around the cactus and another area is right outside the Razor Hill Inn where the NPCs are. You will want to stand between the water and the huge jugs, without moving you can easily get 4 eggs in different location.

From experience, its really slow, if you have patience and don't mind the wait, then that would be the ideal method. But if you are like me, then the best method,is to go cheetah form and look for the eggs. I have collected over 100 eggs in under 30 minutes..

On my second day I almost completed the Noblegarden achievements, having collected over 300 eggs. I spent 100 eggs for the pet, 50 eggs for the Flower Robe, 50 eggs for Flower Spread, which you will need to start doing the achievement.

My best advise is to focus on collecting the eggs, spend at least an hour. After 200 eggs, you will want to buy the items required to complete the Noblegarden Achivements.

The following guide is taken from DruidKitty. I really like her walkthrough, I thought it was well written and very clear to understand. Nicee kitty..

Chocoholic - Eat 100 Noblegarden Chocolates during Noblegarden. During this you will also complete Chocolate Lover (to eat 25).Yay Achievement points!

Spring Fling - Find your pet Spring Rabbit another one to “love” in each of the four towns where your faction is celebrating Noblegarden. There are two ways to get your bunny, and it doesn’t matter to the achievement Gods which one you choose. You can either farm eggs endlessly until you get one to drop, or you can farm 100 eggs and buy it from the vendor. In the course of getting all my eggs I actually got two bunnies. My first was less than a half hour into egg hunting. All you have to do to have your bunny “fall in love” is have him out, he will make quick work of everything else on his own.

Noble Garden - While you are passing through Stormwind, on your way to Goldshire, make sure you complete this one. Hordes version is in Silvermoon City. You can buy these eggs from the Noblegarden Vendors for 5 chocolates. Don’t forget to open up your own egg once you drop it down. I’ve heard of people getting something they needed from their own eggs. They have the same chances to drop items as regular eggs.

Shake Your Bunny-Maker - Using Spring Flowers, you have to place bunny ears on female characters of at least level 18 of each race. While you are running around getting the Spring Fling achievement, keep your eyes out for the rarer females of your own faction, like Female Dwarves. For your opposite faction, Dalaran seems to work very well. You can sit outside their part of the city and hope one will pass on by. The hardest for me to find were Troll and Orc females. Someone also mentioned to me that you could do this in a Battleground as well. You can get your Spring Flowers the same way as your bunny; either from egg drops, or by purchasing them from the vendor for 50 Chocolates. Yep, the best place is Dalaran, also, if you are playing in US time, log on when it is most populated, BG also helps but should be the last resort, this one wot take you anymore then a couple of hours. Its also best to use the trade channel to your advantage. try /2 LF female tauren or /2 WTB female tauren 1g

Blushing Bride - While you are wearing a White Tuxedo Shirt and Black Tuxedo Pants, kiss someone who is wearing an Elegant Dress. All these clothing items drop from eggs, can be purchased from the Noblegarden vendor, or can be traded because they aren’t soulbound. There are also achievements Sunday’s Finest and Dressed for the Occasion for getting these items from the eggs, although these achievements are not needed to complete the Meta Achievement. This one is easy, please do not spend your eggs on them. I collected the Tuxedo Set after my 150th eggs, just be patient, i know my friend collected his set after the 50th eggs.

These next two require some travelling, so grab a travelling buddy, because you’ll need a friend for the first one.

Hard Boiled - Lay an egg in Un’Goro Crater’s Golakka Hot Springs as a rabbit. To become a rabbit, you need a friend with a Blossoming Branch. Remember that from earlier, and how I told you to hang onto it? Here’s where it comes into play. Un’Goro is pretty far away from everything else it seems at first glance. But here is my great tip on how to get there faster, for level 80s. Have you and your travelling buddy go to Sholozar Basin. There is a portal in the southern part of the Basin that will take you to Un’Goro. Switch into cat form to lessen your fall damage, or use slowfall or the like, and jump your way down into the Crater. Once you get to the Hot Spring, on the western side, cast your Blossoming Branch on your friend, and have them do the same for you. Once you are a bunny, just wait until you “lay an egg”, and you’ve got the achievement. Now, head up to the flight path before you think of pressing on your hearthstone. My friend was offline, so I went there myself, its not hard to find other 80s in the zone, trying to complete the same quest. Try /who or /1 LF help with Bunny achievement or /WTB bunny transform 1G

Desert Rose - Use Spring Robes to plant a flower in each of these deserts: The Badlands, Desolace, Silithus, Tanaris, and Thousand Needles. You can get the Robes from eggs or from the vendor. This is the one thing I didn’t have drop for me, so I spent the required 50 Chocolates to pick it up. Not sure why Kitty said to go with a friend. But u can solo this, it does help to have a mage who you can Portal abuse or a mage willing to do the achievements together. They are very friendly, and sometime its good to have a company since the quest is really simple. If not you can alway hearth to Dalaran.
Happy Egg Hunting!

About Me

Hi guys.

I hope I get a BIG friendly welcome from the Druid's community. It seems there are lots of Blogs out there.

This blog will be different to other Blogs, partly because I have a different perspective and different play style. So, the purpose of this article, is to explain about myself, my background, the purpose of EvilDruid and my ambition.

My name is Mike, living in Adelaide, Australia. Currently playing Psychoäla, level 80 resto druid, with 2.1k spell power, in Dreadmaul, Oceania Server(PVP).

He was created and levelled to 70(in about 5 days played time) Pre WOTLK, in Barthilas, Oceania Server. But later, changed to Dreadmaul, during the free Realm transfer, the name had to be changed from Psychologist to Psychoäla because it was taken.

The reason behind the name is because, I am usually a very good WOW player, in PVP and PVE, thus the Psycho. The last part of the name is because Bear and Panda, were taken, so I picked Koala. The reason behind the funny ä is another story...its a long story. I will explain another day.

I then started playing Psychoäla, one week after the WOTLK expansion. But as a Pro I have a habit of screen-shotting my toons whenever they ding to 70, 80.

Pre Wotlk, I have many 70s which I haven't played since Wotlk expansion. I also have a 70 mage, 70 paly, 70 hunter, 70 warlock. Since the expansion I spent majority of hours on my Resto Druid, and also a few hours on the 80 DK troll and 79 DK gnome.

Even as a male, I find that I get distracted easily, the reason why I have so many 70s is because one is never enough. It's like an addiction. You have no idea what I was like back in the old day when I started playing WOW.

I started playing WOW when it first came out, in early 2005, a few month after it was released in Australia. Back then, every week I would created a new toon. Once I get to level 10, I would find another race, get to level 10 then start all over again. I believe I had over 20 toons of different race in different servers all under level 30 at one point.

My biggest break-through was having a level 50 Tauren Warrior. But after a while I was bored of him, and what did I do?? I created another warrior, an Undead warrior, Frostmourne. But my first level 60 was a druid before any expansion. I then sold that account to a friend I knew in real life for about $150. I also used to sell Gold to a friend of mine, cause he was so lazy. He used to pay me 100G for every $10.

I don't believe in making friends pay, but at the time, he was so lazy and he begged me. LOL. So it was a fair trade. Begging isn't my thing, I really hate it when people beg me.

As you can see, I have a strange personality. It has been very hard for me to stick to one toon. Because I just need to know everything, I want to know every class, every aspect of the game. To sum it up, I have 5 70s waiting to be leveled, a 80 troll DK, a 79 Gnome DK(will remain 79) and a 80 resto druid. In 4 different Server, Jubie Thos(70 human, paly, 79 Gnome DK), Thaurissan (70 BE mage, 80 troll DK), Barthilas (70 BE warlock), Dreadmal (70 BE hunter, 80 resto druid).

Not to mention I spent over 3k G on my 19 twinks, plus all the low level toons. I also have a shadow Priest, a Elemental Shammy, a rogue, across the 4 realms just waiting to be added to my collection.

How much money do i have in those realms?? Haha im also Pro at making money. Just ask any of my friends or guildies.

I rarely touch my 70s since the expansion. They are all sitting on about 40k Gold, per realm. How much Gold, do I have on my resto druid?? ALOT!! and NO please do not accuse me of buying gold, it really pisses me off, when people accuse me of buying gold. Im pro, i dont need to buy Gold. And I don't need to pay gold to power level. Kthankzbai

It really annoys me when my guildies accused me of being a bot or Buying gold. Pre Wotlk, i can easily get from level 1-70 in 4 days played time in under 3 weeks IRL. I have a life >,<

I currently have the Hog(30k g), a traveller mount (20k G), and have over 40k Gold in my bank not to mention all the mats and epic gears.

I'm also a collector, if I see something I really want. I will usually have it added to my collection. I am currently working on my pet collection, and mount collection. I'm sorry, but I have to much gold and to much free time and nothing else to do with it.

My ambition at the moment is Evildruid Blog, but on Psychoäla, my goal is to get over 200 k Gold. At first it was to get over 1 million GOLD, but after some research i was told that the gold cap is currently at 225k GOLD, which I'm still unsure of ( maybe someone can tell me).

This Blog is to help out any Druids or really anyone who needs pro advice, those who are new to healing spec. My specialy is healing. One of the main reason why i started a resto druid, was because there were so many bad druids and they need a Pro healer.

There are times when i get annoyed with certain group, and sometime its best to let them die, catform, dash, ROFL. Nah, Im not encouraging anyone to do that, but for any druids out there, learn from the Pro!

I love having a smooth run in heroics without any deaths or wipe. As for raid, I enjoy being the top healer. Recount usually says I'm 1st or 2nd in healing done.

You believe recount is inaccurate?? That's another story Good Sir. Numbers don't lie its how you interpret it. I cant do heroic without recount, and I'm very strict on deeps, as anyone should be.

During our free time, me and my mates enjoys a good heroic chain. We usually aim for a quick heroic. I have a few favourite heroics. AN is really easy and fast, our best timer was 15 mins, UK and UP is also my favourite. Uk 15 mins, UP 23mins. Healing is easy mode, I don't quite understand why so many people dislike heroics or have under 100G at level 80. Currently I have over 1270 heroism and 151 Valors.

Heroic is very enjoyable with mates you know, for that reason i would like to thanks my mate, Krakka and Katazz and Morick (Dreamaul). Its always interesting doing heroics with them. At times I can be bossy, which I know I am, but its a breeze doing heroics with them.

Krakka and Katazz are real life mates, I met them while running heroics. Ever since our first heroics, Krakka became a good friend, late at night I would get a PST from him to do heroics. lol. He later intro me to Katazz who also enjoys heroics run. Those two guys have been awesome. Katazz is a PRO dps DK, he can easily do over 4k dps(he once did over 5k dps), Krakka usually sit on 3k DPS.

As for Morick, hes been my buddy since we met, he's really easy to get along. Everyone in the server likes him. I met him in his early 80. He asked me if i wanted to join his Naxx pug run. He didn't have a guild, nor any experience in Naxx so as an officer of I recruited him. From there onward, I have always helped him whenever he needed me. Morick is a curious learner, he started out with 1.3k dps usually under Tank, but now aday he sits on 2k dps.

Later on in I had a few disagreement, so i left, and Morick then left to join another guild. But we have been close since then. As for I was quite upset that it disbanded, I didn't see it coming at all.

FadePetal and Slayersneak, have been awesome during the time I was there. I met many friendly guys not to mention other friendly officers, and Xtwigg.

I hope I haven't missed out on anything, you can find me on Psychoäla. Give me a pop or even better if you can support this Blog. Hopefully I can get enough support to one day move to my own domain.

Again Evildruid Blog is all about helping you. Feel free to post any comments or question. I'm always happy to help.
